2014 NDPA Symposium Heads to Orlando

The 13th annual NDPA Symposium, now titled the NDPA Educational Conference, will take place March 19 – 21, 2014, at the Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive, in Orlando, Fla.

During the conference, more than 30 speakers will present breakout sessions based on the event’s theme “Dare to Ask.”

Presenters range from USA Swimming Executive Director Chuck Wielgus, who will give the keynote address, and YMCA of Greater Kansas City Senior Aquatics Director Amanda Mitchell, who will discuss operating a safe pool on a budget, to Eric Lupton of Lifesaver Pool Fence and Bob Lyons of Terrapin Communications, who will discuss “Selling Layers of Protection,” a look at the evolving market for layers of protection products.

Featured general sessions include Social & Corporate Responsibility, Pediatric Submersion – The State of the Science, Aquatic Industry Babylon: What do they have in common?, and Turning Tragedies into Triumph.

Additionally, Dr. Jane Katz will lead a special tribute to families that have lost loved ones to drowning that includes a special synchronized swimming program.
