Vortex Aquatic Structures International has promoted two of its team members to senior management.

Virginie Guilbeault will now serve as executive vice president, a new position within the Montreal, Canada-based maker of aquatic play solutions. Louis Parent has been promoted to the role of vice president of operations.

Guibeault joined Vortex in 2005 and most recently served as vice president of business development for Europe/Middle East territories. Her new role includes managing sales and operations, in addition to business development strategy in Europe, the Middle East, Quebec and Asia.

Parent, who has years of management experience in manufacturing, will oversee manufacturing, supply chain, construction, technical and customer services in his new role. He also will supervise Vortex’s after-sale customer service.

“Together, Virginie and Louis position us to meet the opportunities and challenges that come with our continued growth,” said Stephen Hamelin, president of Vortex.
