Waterpark description: The Wild West-themed indoor waterpark has 12 slides, a lazy river, the Rascal Round Up interactive play structure, a toddlers area, a 30-person hot tub for adults only, a 4-foot-deep activity pool with water basketball, and DB’s Sidewinder Café concession stand.
The “it” factor: Operators say Fort Rapids is the only destination facility of its kind in Columbus.
Besides the indoor waterpark, the resort features three restaurants (Copper Star Saloon, Branding Iron Grille and the Canyon Café), a 5,000-square-foot arcade and 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
Weekend guests also can participate in planned family-friendly activities such as story times and dance parties.
